How Do I Log In With my Apple or Google Account?

If you created your Daily Wire account using "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google," here's what you need to know to access your account going forward.

How to log in

Click the Apple or Google button on the login screen, whichever one you used when you signed up. You do not need to enter anything into the email and password fields; those are only for accounts created with a Daily Wire email and password.

If you don't remember your Apple ID or Google account credentials

Try logging in on the original device you used when you created your account (for example, the iPhone or computer you signed up on). Your Apple ID or Google credentials are often saved on that device, so it may log you in automatically or only ask for a PIN, fingerprint, or Face ID.

Once you're logged in:

1. Go to Account Management
2. Locate the email address connected to your account
3. Update it to an email address you have easy access to going forward

This way, even if you can't recall your Apple or Google password later, you'll be able to login to your Daily Wire account by manually entering your updated email and password. 

A note for Apple users: "Hide My Email"

If you signed up with Apple, you may have selected "Hide My Email" during sign-up. This creates a private, randomly generated address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) that forwards messages to your real inbox, meaning that the email on file with Daily Wire may not be your actual email address.

This isn't a problem, but it can make account recovery trickier if you're not sure which email is connected. Here's how to check:

Check on appleid.apple.com 

1. Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in
2. Go to Sign-In and Security → Sign in with Apple
3. Look for Daily Wire in the list. Select it to see whether Hide My Email was used, and view the forwarding address

If Daily Wire doesn't appear in this list, you likely didn't use Sign in with Apple for this account. You may have signed up with a Daily Wire email and password instead, or you're signed into a different Apple ID than the one you used to sign up. Try logging in with your email/password, or check if you have another Apple ID.

Once you've confirmed the setup, log into your Daily Wire account by selecting "Continue with Apple" and entering the Hide My Email address that's on file. You can now update the email in Account Settings to one you'll have long-term access to if you'd like.
